Matt found his love for music at the age of 9. Following in his family footsteps Matt began his journey on guitar. However, a few years into playing guitar he found his passion for the drums when he, Josh and Tommy recorded their very first CD together in 2000. 

During breaks in recording Matt would gravitate toward the drum kit and would try to piece together a beat. As time went on the passion to get better only grew and for Christmas that year Santa brought his very own kit. Included in the kit was an instructional video on the basics. Coming from a family of guitar players it was on his shoulders to teach himself how to play the instrument. 

Matt began his YouTube Channel in January 2015 uploading his first drum cover of an Alter Bridge song. Through his channel he has connected and worked with various bands/artists over the years all throughout the US. Most notably with Before The Chase founded by two members of Lost Autumn, a rock band based out South Dakota. During the downtime Matt enjoys spending time with his family.
